It's not an irrational fear in my opinion....
My husband lost control of our car when we got cut off on an icy bridge in his Canadian hometown and luckily, we only hit/scraped the side rails. Ever since then I can't drive over any bridge without a little bit of that that nervousness.
Wow, I think if that happened to me I could never go over another bridge.
