Wow, this makes it look like I've not read anything. Well did you ever consider that I've read books that aren't even on this list? And I work in a bookstore now....

um, i've read or started NINE on that whole list.

i'm feeling a little inadequate now.

I strongly suspect that there were a few that I've actually read but forgotten about in the interim.

yeah, read a whopping 17 & probably started another 5 that i didn't finish. that's a rather eclectic list for sure. there's no rhyme or reason to it that i can see.

I feel a little inadequate too....

Let me just say that they list like 10 Jane Austen books, and I hate Jane Austen. Clearly discriminatory.

I'm with Mar. The list is pretty random.

I didn't know you worked at a book store! I LOVE books. I've never worked at a book store but I think I'd probably love it. I love just being around books. (fiction books not non-fiction) I've worked for a college library and that's not fun.

That's funny. I'm a librarian and I think I've read about two of those books. I avoid classics. As I'm sure you can tell from my goodreads page, I mostly read about murder. This is further emphasized by the fact that the one single book on that list that I know I finished is "In Cold Blood". Actually, I credit that book with starting my whole crime obsession.

Oh, Steph, librarians don't have to read books, they just have to know where to find them. :)

And to be fair, In Cold Blood is one of the books listed that I've read other works by the author, just not that particular one.
