I can live alone, but it's not good for me.
I don't eat right. Tiny pizzas for dinner twice in a row? Yes.
I don't clean. I haven't done the dishes at all this week.
I don't go shopping. I did brave TJ's by myself to purchase aforementioned tiny pizzas, and I had to run to the ghetto superstore this morning while in my pajamas because there was no milk for my coffee.
Luckily I had a few things to do this week that didn't all involve me finishing the necklace I'm working on and watching Freaks & Geeks. (Which I do enjoy doing.) I got to meet with my writing group, which is always good. I picked up my AIDS Walk prizes (t-shirt, hat, sweatshirt, tote bag, 2 pins for my hat, and various free samples of things, including travel-size sun block, which as we all know, is an essential for pigment-less people like me.) I had a yummy dinner with a new friend that may be able to help change my life for the better. And I also worked on my necklace while watching Freaks and Geeks.
The cat has turned into a lap cat. And I mean, every time I'm sitting down, he's on my lap. He's also taken up kneading, which he never quite had the knack of anyway, but it's more annoying than loving. It is funny when he kneads the air though. He probably won't be so lappy when Craig gets back, so in theory I should relish in this "special" des-Mecru time, but sometimes I don't want a cat on me. Especially since the weather is getting warmer and he leaves hair everywhere.
So tonight, life will return to normal. I will no longer have the whole bed to myself. I'll have to start cleaning again (technically I should do that before he comes home). But, someone will once again take the time to cook for me and make sure I eat more than once a day. I'm not helpless - I'm just lazy. It's not good for me to live by myself.

I myself enjoy a good kneading. I hate to clean though. I don't blame you one bit about the dishes. Dishes suck.

I could use a week without mine. I just need a vacation. A nice, long vacation. One that includes a tropical atmosphere, a young tan man in a sarong of some kind and a drink with a brightly colored paper umbrella in it. Yup, that's what I need. Anyone want to come with me?

If the cat jumps up on your lap, hiss at him. He will get right back off and I promise, he will not be offended.

Freaks and Geeks was such a good show. Sigh.
ct - my cat doesn't respond to hissing. or moving or pushing or yelling. He just looks at me like "What are you doing, crazy? I'm trying to lay down!"
