it's a stupid day

I don't feel like writing this in a coherent form, so a list it is!

• It's raining, which always brings me down anyway.
  
• As soon as I got to work, my beltloop ripped off, and now there is a hole in my jeans.
• Then I noticed that I had forgotten my work shirt at home. I had brought it out and put it on top of my jacket (which I did bring), but obviously that wasn't enough to make me remember.
• Opening my cup o'noodles, I got a papercut on my thumb from the cardboard case.
• A guy came in and asked if I could give him some singles as change. I was thinking he needed me to break a ten or maybe a twenty. No, he wanted five hundred singles. I told him to go to a bank and he said they wouldn't do it for him either. I told him that it's not that I don't want to, I just don't have that much cash in the store, which is true. He gave me a dirty look and walked out.
• I had to deal with a few people that are less smart than the normal riff raff. Luckily they were both over the phone.

Conversation one:
Do you take starter checks?
Only if your name and account number are on the checks.
What if I bring in my bank statement?
Well you need to do that anyway, but your name and account number still need to be on the checks.
But won't my bank account prove anything?
Not if your name & account are not on your checks, no. That would prove nothing.

Conversation two:
How much is the most I can get a loan for?
$600 is the most you can get anywhere in Michigan.
That's not enough. Are you sure I can't get more?
Not in Michigan, no.
But what if I need like $10,000?
Then you need to go to a bank, not a payday advance store.

All of these things would be fine on their own, but compounded into one day, it's making me think I just should have stayed in bed.
