Hallow-meme

**DISCLAIMER: The movies that are more my speed are the really really old ones. Vincent Price? I love you.

Bold
those you’ve seen.
Italicize movies you have started but couldn’t finish.
Add an asterisk* to those you have watched more than once.
Underline those on your ‘To Watch’ list.

The Shining* - This isn't a Stephen King movie... it's a Stanley Kubrick movie. And that makes all the difference. (Did you ever see the one with the dude from Wings? That was really bad.)
The Exorcist* - Gross. I'll never look at split pea soup the same way.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - Isn't this gory?
The Silence of the Lambs - creepy creepy Hannibal
JAWS* - I love this movie. I don't know why. Jaws 4 when the shark eats a helicopter? Not so much.
Halloween - I always get these confused.
Psycho* - Insane people really are crazy.
Seven - never saw it. what can I say.
Rosemary’s Baby* - ah, spawn of Satan. Always a good premise. I've read the book, and the sequel. The sequel sucks.
Poltergeist - Why was I allowed to watch this when I was a little kid? "They're heeerre..."
A Nightmare on Elm Street - I just remember Freddy jumping through the bushes to hack someone. That was funny.
Friday the 13th - Always get these confused too.
The Thing - Maybe I've seen this one? I don't know.
The Evil Dead* - Not so much "scary" as "utterly hilarious."
Carrie - When I was little people said I looked like Sissy Spacek. So I investigated that claim. Unfortunately I do not possess telekinetic powers.
Night of the Living Dead* - zombies... move... so .... slowly....
The Omen*- creepy. creepy little kid.
An American Werewolf in London - bah
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer - no clue
The Hitcher - no clue again
Lost Highway - I don't like old whatshisname
The Blair Witch Project- I saw this at the midnight premier on a foggy foggy night. It was fun. Then later it was lame.
Pet Cemetery - Stephen King movies are always bad,
Saw - I never saw it. ha ha ha ha
The Ring - creepy creepy girl. I wanna see the japanese version.
Scream – sorry. but not really.
28 Days Later - I heart zombie movies. They're actually quite scary when the zombies move like shwa shwa shwa!

Happy Halloween!!!!

Oh good point. Ok, I'll change it to "Stephen King Horror Movies are always bad."

Wow. I only saw one off the list - "Poltergeist." And I'm not even sure I saw it all the way through.

I'm a horror movie weenie.

I love that you never saw Saw.

The Exorcist still scares me. My husband and I have a really stupid way of quoting Silence of the Lambs lines to each other...Well I mean, I just do. He didn't speak English when that movie came out. So that would make watching it and learning lines a little difficult. Ok I'm past the topic now but...you know. So how was work last night?

suebob, I'm surprised I'd seen that many.

pea, definitely don't let your husband learn english from that movie. That would be uber creepy.
