that darn cat

Here is an email I got from Craig while I was at work . It made me laugh really hard.

The cat was freaked out by the sound of me transferring newly purchased popcorn from bags into the pertinent popcorn container and he is now engaged in a tremendously athletic and entertaining game of “catch the invisible bug.” Probably the best one he’s played in years.

Even though I am long since finished pouring, he seems convinced that the noise WAS a bug and that the bug is hiding around the futon. Just narrowly avoiding the cat—every time the cat pounces on top of the futon, the bug is gone, having escaped to the futon’s underside. Every time the cat jumps underneath, he JUST misses the bug, who has, apparently, venture back to the top of the futon.

Also, I’m not sure—and neither is the cat—but the cat’s own tail may be in on the invisible bug conspiracy.
