I don’t like slimy foods. I can’t deal with them. When I put food in my mouth and discover its sliminess, I am physically unable to continue chewing & swallowing it.
Normally I can avoid slimy foods. I have a fairly good idea of what will arrive on my slimy plate. (Read: mushrooms.) But sometimes I go against my own better judgment and order something involving portabello mushrooms. I did this last night. I convinced myself that portabellos are less slimy than other mushrooms. But no. It was, in fact, the slimiest thing in the whole monkey monkey. I couldn’t eat it. This upset me because since I was in a restaurant, I was there to eat.
But the Boyfriend rescued me. He traded meals with me. He ate the slime (fully admitting that it was the slimiest thing he’d ever seen) and let me eat his dish. He still ate some of his old dish too, but the point is that I didn’t have to think about the slime anymore, and was full of food energy for the 2nd half of out xmas shopping day.
Ps – Where is the worst place in the world to be when you have a killing headache? Times Square, a week before xmas. Don’t ask me how I know this.

You forgot to add Times Square and IN the ToysRus (Hell on earth as I know it!)
...
See, I do know enough to stay out of the toy stores during the holidays!
Now that's what I call a boyfriend!
He's good beans. I think I'll keep him.
That is one nice BF.
He is nice. I would have probably just ate my meal and ignored you, ha,ha..
Hubby trades meals with me too. Unfortunately, I have recently found out that being a parent means I have to trade meals with my kids. My ob sure didn't tell me that at my pre-conception appointment.
Someday maybe I'll learn to eat slimy foods, but why should I when I'm spoiled like this?
Your BF is the goods. Hope you are having fun in CA!
