From the bottom of my heart

Don’t tell me I look tired. I try to take pride in my appearance, and looking tired is never a compliment.

There are only 2 reasons you would tell me this:

  1. I am tired.
  2. I clearly did not put enough effort into my appearance today.

Thank you for pointing out both of these things. You are basically saying that I should have stayed in bed instead of spending that time getting ready. I would love to do that. There are days that I do do that. However, these are not called workdays. Because I am at work, today is clearly a workday. Thus, I had to wake up early and put on makeup. Both of which have contributed to my looking tired, as you so painfully make me aware.

So, helpful citizen, I thank you.

p.s. I looked in the mirror conveniently enough after you spoke with me, and it appears that I had been masking my fatigue successfully. So even though I am tired, I did not show it until you came along and started asking me stupid pointless questions and explaining things to me that I already know.

Stupid boring people make me look tired too.

They: You look tired.

You: I am tired. TIRED OF YOU!!!!

And then you bop 'em with your swingline stapler (I understand your frying pan has been confiscated).

How is resading blogs restricting your ability to teach? I guess in the same way it inhibits my..uh.. ability to... do nothing.

Sometimes I think it's just a ploy to make you feel as tired, miserable, and useless as they are.

I've had insomnia for the last three nights. I look like a zombie. I will stand next to you from now on and deflect any comments directed at you. Hope that will help.

Then I can say "Get 'em Suze!" and you'll eat their brains.
