going places is hard

Here’s an imaginary conversation I had, based on a real conversation between the receptionist and someone else on the phone. This conversation lasted like ½ an hour.

“Ok, you know that big river between manhattan & Brooklyn? (the “east river” as it were.) go to the Brooklyn side, using the manhattan bridge. Here are the street names you will find. Most of them are one way. No, don’t drive IN to the water. Do you know your left from your right? Why are you driving? You could have walked or taken the subway in less time than this. Ok, you’re an idiot. You can’t find the place, so we no longer require your services.”
