mediocre thrift store adventures

On Saturday we went to go check out a giant new thrift store. While Jay was looking for pants, I wandered away to look for a black cardigan. I'm always on the lookout for a nice black cardigan, but apparently am not allowed to have one. I must have been looking in the wrong sections or something, but there were no cardigans at all in the entire store. (And for the record, the sections I looked in were: sweaters, long sleeve button downs, long sleeves, button downs, and even jackets.)

I did find a cool picture frame though, which I picked up for $2. The weird thing is, someone left the picture in the frame. It was someone's grandma from the late 70s. There was no writing or anything on it, but it was clearly not the standard "filler" picture. I still have the picture, just sitting on my coffee table. It feels wrong to throw it away, but I really have no use for someone else's grandma.

In other news, I finally got around to making some more jewelry. It's been months, but go check out the Rainbow Gemstone Necklace (and you know, buy it).

Do we get to see the picture of Grandma? Maybe someone might know who she is.

I went to a new thrift store the other day and they had a whole rack - like 4 feet - of pooh sweatshirts. And they were all different - big, little, different designs, different wear - like there are just hundreds of people getting rid of their pooh sweatshirts randomly. WEIRD.

I wonder if Pooh is going out of style?
