It snowed today. You know, because it's November. In Michigan.

In that picture it's not sticking to the ground yet, but it did. You can be sure of that.
Here's Griswald the squirrel coming for her daily dose of peanuts.

I played with the colors to make it more exciting (it's magic!) But you can see the snow on her tail.

But I'm not ready for the snow. In theory I'll have to drive in the snow, which I've never done. (CA doesn't snow and NYCers don't drive.) Assuming I have a job or somewhere to go. And a car. Otherwise I will just drink hot chocolate and stay inside.

Anyway, I was kind of mad at the snow for the above reason, until I took the dog out. It was so calm and quiet and nice and I was wearing my snow jacket. If I had my snow boots, it would have been perfect.

So as you can tell, I'm having mixed feelings about this "snow" thing.

Snow is pretty. And I like the "wooooowooooo" sound the winter winds make when it snows. But I've never really driven in snow either. So tell us how you fare should you find yourself driving in it.

Ugh. Driving in snow. I wish I lived down south sometimes, where a little dusting shuts everything down.

The snow here was pretty amazing on Saturday. Some of the largest snowflakes I've ever seen! Very pretty, but I'm still dreading the first time we actually have a few inches to deal with.
