Yes, I pre-ordered the last Harry Potter book. Though I do own all the others, I've never pre-ordered one before. In fact, the 1st 3 are in paperback (in a boxed set). BUT I am going on a trip that consists of many plane rides very soon. And yes, I admit it, I want to read the damn book. I know all 4 of us in our room at BlogHer will be reading it. Plus, the future bride that I will be with in CA is "saving it for her honeymoon" which means she'll be halfway through it when I get there 4 days before the wedding. (Who reads on their honeymoon anyway? Well I probably will, but I'm an uber-nerd.)
So yeah.
I still hope Harry dies, but I'm wicked like that. It's not that I hate him, it's just that the main character never dies. (I wanted the Seinfeld and Friends crews to die on their respective last episodes too, but of course they didn't.) I guess you all know how my book will end.

DES!!! Don't wish that kind of thing on my poor little heart.
It'll be at the END....
Oh my! You little sadist ;o)
I used to watch that HBO series, "Six Feet Under." In the last episode there was a dream sequence into the future of all the characters that showed how they all died. If Harry Potter disappoints you, try that.
I have every intention of being done before BlogHer, but I won't spoil anything!
I just realized it's only an hour flight to blogher. I might be done before then too.
I will be done with it by BlogHer also!
Today's the day! UPS says it's "in transit to final destination." That's me!
Mine's "in transit" too!
