For our unofficial anniversary celebration, Craig agreed to take a full day off from studying, and I agreed to take a full day off from my... nothing. It was a beautiful sunny day, high 70s, so we decided to first wander around Central Park. I got to wear my pretty pink 1930's dress that looks like a nightgown.
We spent a few hours in the park, taking pictures and strolling and sitting. Then we meandered towards the movie theatre where we had to kill some time before the movie started. We ended up wandering in circles around the same block for no reason until 6:15 when we could go watch Blades of Glory. This is a very funny movie that you should go see. I would watch figure skating in real life if it was anything like it is portrayed in the movie. Laughs and laughs were had by all.
After the movie, time for fondue. Have I mentioned lately that I love fondue? Well I love fondue. Cheese. Then chocolate. The chocolate was so thick you could barely dip anything in it, and we didn't eat it all even though we tried our darndest. As for the cheese, every bit of that was consumed by one or both of us.
Some highlights of the night came on our way home. A car rounded a corner, blasting its crappy music while the passengers hung out the windows and yelled and threw a bottle at us. I don't think they were throwing it at us or any of the other people on the corner specifically, but it smashed on the street near us nonetheless. I yelled "Go back to Jersey and break bottles on your own streets!" The car did have New Jersey plates, but I would have yelled that anyway.
Then on the train ride home, we watched a guy doing a Rubix Cube and timing himself. In the 3 stops we were on the train with him, he completed it twice. We were in awe.
And so completes my summary of our unofficial anniversary date day.

Aw, happy 914th anniversary Des!
Wow, 914? That is a lot.
:)
that movie was mind-bottling.
You know, like when your thoughts are all crazy liked they're trapped in a bottle.
that'll give me enough time to wax my jugs.
that one got me to crying.
ha ha ha.
I might buy it when it comes out on DVD.
Hey where was I? I missed this post. OH Jersey--my unfortunate sister is stuck living there...I understand everything.
You look so pretty up there-I love that dress.
You guys should have come to the park.
