a star speaks out

This was my blog exchange entry, posted here for all of you that didn't feel like wandering onto other blogs, or did try it and found that my entry was not posted until the end of the day. I also wanted to show that at one time there was punctuation and emphasis in the post, as opposed to what showed up.

The topic was "write a blog in the voice of someone famous." You guess who it was. It wasn't really a topic I liked, so my entry didn't win any best of show awards. But I'm totally ok with that. (Though it would have been sweet sweet justice!)

Hi, my name is Par- oops! I forgot I was supposed to do this anonny… anon… another mouse… you know, that thing when I don’t use my name? Anyway, I’m here today because I guess people are always mad at me for being famous for no reason, but really they’re just jealous because I’m really rich. But I’m famous for lots of reasons. I’m an actress, and a model, and a singer, and I’m always in magazines and stuff. Plus, I have my own website. And there’s all these famous people in my family.

A little while back there was this big deal because me and my friend Brit- oops, I mean another another mouse (she winks) – were out having a good time and someone took a picture of her when she forgot to wear panties. I don’t understand what the big deal is. I forget to wear panties all the time, and then I forget that I forgot. I’m sure that’s what happened to Br- my friend.

Besides, there were a few times when videos of me were released on the internet without my permission, and I wasn’t wearing panties then. I don’t know why I let my boyfriends videotape it when we have sex. I guess it’s because I’m so hot. Actually, I’m sure that’s why, because people bought that tape like crazy.

So anyway, what was I talking about? (A stagehand whispers something unintelligible into her ear.) An intervention? I thought this was an interview! That is so not hot. (She storms off stage.)
