more of an "early Sunday morning" post

I like going to parties even if I don't like everyone there. Chances are, I like the person throwing the party (or I wouldn't be going) and so I will also like their choice of guests, for the most part. The addition of good cheese, varying chocolate, and bad wine seem to help too. However, when the party is pretty over and only a few remain, that is when I really notice the people I don't like and it is time to move on. Plus it's a long trek home and so I won't be home 'til after 3am. But certain people give me that push I need.

Then after I am lying in bed about to go to sleep at 3:30am, my cat decides now would be a good time to play. So he brings me his bell from the other room and waits for me to throw it. (What cat doesn't like a good game of fetch?) I have to explain to him that I am sleeping and that he should go bother C, who is still up reading comic books in the other room. When I wake up some hours later, the bell-string is in the middle of the kitchen floor. As soon as Mecru notices me notice it, he runs over to play. So we have a nice game of fetch while my tea is brewing. Lucky for me, the cat gets bored of this game after a few minutes, so I am free to get on with my day. But he's a persistant little bugger, isn't he?

ps - Now that I never have to study for the GRE again, I've returned to my first love of making jewelry. There are 2 new necklaces up at jewelry by des.

Oooh, I am intrigued to learn who it is who drove you away, although I suspect I know because I am nott a fan of that individual either and had a conversation with someone else about it already.

But I am glad that you came and I had fun with you. I also had a conversation with someone yesterday about how much we like you and we wish more people were of your high quality caliber.

Dianne, even though I've never met you in person, I'm sure that you would be one of the guests that I approve of.

Wow, I just looked at my first comment and realized I used that phrase already. Lame. Anyway, you both rock and I am super glad that we met.
