a word of warning

If I hear the words “Is it cold enough for ya?” one more time, I’m going to scream, and then very probably hit the offender with a frying pan. Yes, it is 11 degrees outside (and -5 with wind chill), and yes, that is cold enough for me. But you do not need to ask me that because you think you are being highly original and incredibly funny. You are being neither. You are so lame that I can’t even handle it.

ps - that's Fahrenheit, for all my weird Celsius friends.

When the handle of my 1977 Ford LTD broke off in my hand because it was frozen, I knew I had to get the fuck out of the east. I also need to point out that three weeks ago it was actually warmer in NY than in San Diego. Keerazy....

Another good reason not to have a car.

I remember when NY was that warm. Everyone was complaining. Then, BAM! freezing.

I've always been more of a "hot enough for ya," kind of guy. You know: "hot enough to fry and egg on the sidewalk," ... "It's not the heat, it's the stupidity," ... err ... "humidity", I mean.

I can see that, because where you are is (normally) hotter than where I am.
