I'm alone. The Boyfriend is off galavanting around in CA with his friend before Friend's wedding next week. I will be joining the party for the actual wedding, but as I am not in the wedding party (and I'm not allowed to miss a straight week of work) I am here alone.
I've been practicing my singing. The My Fair Lady soundtrack and Babes in Toyland*. Both choices that I practice alone, for obvious reasons. I'm drinking coffee, deciding whether or not I'm going to a birthday party. That "starts" at 10. On a Friday night. In what will be a crowded bar. I might just stay here in my pajamas and watch a movie, because I do have to leave fairly early tomorrow to go on adventures (that I'm sure you'll hear about one way or the other). And I like popcorn.
My standard movie watching fare while alone is always Forrest Gump, for some reason. I don't know if I want to pull out those big guns yet - after all, the Boyfriend probably hasn't even touched down onto Oakland soil yet. I'm sure I can find a nice comedy that I never get to watch because I'm the only one in the world that likes it.
Ok, enough rambling. I have work to do.
* For some reason I can't find a good site to link to for the Babes. Damn you internet!
p.s. While trolling through IMDB, I discovered that the chick in Pee Wee's Big Adventure is also the voice of a Powerpuff Girl and a Rugrat.

I tried to watch TV alone today, but I slept too late, then went to lunch with a friend. By the time I got home, D was already home from work so I took a nap instead.
You'd be surprised how many celebrities have done cartoon voices, both past and present.
I suggest "Singin' in the Rain" as a good movie to watch by yourself, because then you can dance around the apartment.
Cartoon voices are hard for me... I recognize the voice, but can't think of who it belongs to. Then when I find out, the world makes sense again.
Best. Movie. Ever.
(Pee Wee, that is)
Also, I agree with sudiegirl about Singin' in the Rain. One of my favorites.
