cow empathy

I heard about a lady with cow empathy. She can identify with cows, and knows what upsets them. She’s done all this “revolutionary” work to make slaughterhouses and the whole cow industry more humane. But the cows are still being slaughtered, so they’re not that humane. But apparently cows get freaked out if something is out of place, like a piece of trash on the floor. Then the cow won’t go inside the building. But how does a cow know what’s out of place, especially in a building they’ve never been in? (I’m assuming most cows have never been inside a slaughterhouse and lived to tell the tale.) I can see them being freaked out about a strange piece of trash in their field, that would freak me out too. But why does a cow focus on the symmetry of fans in a building and think that’s weird? Wouldn’t the cow think the whole building was weird? How does this person know what a cow thinks? Maybe the cows just don’t like going in buildings. Or maybe they know they are about to be killed. I don’t agree with this lady’s story at all.

i forgot to add :
now does this empathy go for all creatures of the bovine ilk? does she know what an ox or buffalo thinks? and why doesn't she do something to "help" them? or is it all animals (not people) and she only likes cows?
